Sideways pages are one of the most annoying things about scanned PDFs. A phone scan of a landscape table comes out lying on its side, a document feeder flips every second page, or one certificate in a pack was scanned upside down. Reading it means tilting your head or turning your laptop. Rotate PDF fixes the file itself, so the pages open the right way up for you and for everyone you send it to.
Add your PDF and you see every page as a thumbnail. Choose how far to turn: a quarter turn to the right, a half turn to fix an upside-down page, or a quarter turn to the left. Then pick which pages to turn. Leave the selection empty to turn the whole document, or tap just the pages that are wrong. If you prefer typing, enter page numbers like 1, 3-4 in the box, and the thumbnails show your choice. The main button tells you how many pages will be turned.
Rotation is lossless. The tool changes the page’s rotation setting inside the PDF instead of re-drawing the page, so text, images and quality stay exactly as they were, and the file size barely changes. Because the rotation is saved in the file, it stays when you open the PDF in another app, print it, or upload it to a portal. Your original file is not changed; you download a new copy with -rotated at the end of its name.
Your PDF is turned in your own browser and never uploaded, which matters for ID documents, certificates and bank papers. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many files you rotate. On a phone, the thumbnails are big enough to tap comfortably, and the result can be shared straight to WhatsApp.
If some pages need different turns, rotate in two passes, or use Organize PDF, where every page has its own rotate button and you can also change the order or remove pages. A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first. To turn photos into a PDF in the right orientation from the start, use JPG to PDF, which reads the direction your camera saved.
