Yes, in nearly all documents; if a rare font is missing, a similar one with the same width is used.
Why does this tool use a server?
Turning Word files into PDF needs a full office program, which can’t run inside a phone browser.

Yes. Word to PDF is free and needs no sign-up; there is a fair daily limit per person.
What happens to my file?
It is sent to our server over HTTPS, converted, and deleted after 1 hour. Nobody looks at it.
Does it work on my phone?
